Lok-MorĀ® offers a wide range of domestically manufactured locknuts designed for use by Americaās shipbuilders and marine contractors. We manufacture 18 different styles of locknuts at our Mansfield, Texas facility, including free-spinning, prevailing-torque, and structural. Our signature structural locknut, the award-winning ANCOĀ® PN-LOCĀ®, is ideal for tough marine environments. It features a patented, unbreakable stainless-steel pin, which when combined with the nutās unique controlled-locking indentation, creates a secure lock even in corrosive and vibratory conditions.
Materials, Threads, and Finishes for Marine Environments
Lok-MorĀ® locknuts are offered with a number of options to best meet the needs of the market. Sizes, materials, threads, finishes, and coatings can all be tailored to your exact requirements. The majority of our locknuts are available in sizes up to 4ā, with larger diameters able to be custom manufactured. For difficult-to-source locknuts and related hardware, our custom manufacturing capabilities allow us to quickly fulfill your unique needs with some of the fastest turnaround time in the industry.
Lok-Mor® accommodates diverse threading standards for marine applications, including American Standard and Metric. Several material options are available, including multiple steel grades, brass, bronze, aluminum alloys, and more. Our Made-in-America⢠locknuts are offered with several plating and coating options, such as zinc and cadmium. These locknuts are also available with several related processes, including galvanization and anodization to provide an added level of protection from corrosive marine environments.
