KEY-LOC

Non-Reversing, Free-Spinning Locknut

The KEY-LOC™ is engineered to provide a permanent and tamper-resistant fastening solution. Once the locking key is engaged, the nut becomes non-removable, ensuring the integrity of critical assemblies. This locknut is designed to turn freely on a bolt until it is firmly seated against a base. Upon further tightening, the locking action is activated, preventing the nut from loosening under vibration or torque. The non-reversing feature ensures that, once installed, the locknut cannot be removed, providing a secure and tamper-proof connection.

Application

The KEY-LOC™ locknut is ideal for applications where a permanent fastening is crucial, such as:

  • Security Systems: Preventing unauthorized disassembly of components.
  • Safety Equipment: Ensuring that critical safety mechanisms remain intact and functional.
  • Public Infrastructure: Deterring tampering with essential public installations.
